How we keep delivery accountable

  1. Align

We start with the business result you want and how you will measure it.

  2. Commit

You get a plan with dates, owners, and a clear structure for cost.

  3. Deliver

You see real progress as the work happens, with one lead accountable for it.

  4. Support

After launch we stay on to run, improve, and grow what we built.

Which service fits

  • You have a defined system to build and want one team to own it: custom enterprise software development.
  • The work is ongoing and the roadmap will keep changing: a dedicated product team.
  • An older system runs important work and is getting harder to change: modernization in phases.
  • You need a phase, a product, or ongoing improvement done outside your own team: outsourced software delivery.
  • You are not sure yet: book the fit call and we will say which one fits, even if it is not us.

What happens on the fit call

The fit call is 30 minutes with a delivery lead. You tell us what has to ship and why it matters. We ask about your systems, your team, and your dates, then say plainly whether we are the right fit. If we are, the next step is a short discovery and a written plan with dates, owners, and a clear structure for cost. There is no obligation and no sales script.

Who does the work and who checks it

  • A named delivery lead owns the plan, the dates, and your weekly update.
  • Engineers and designers build in two-week cycles, and you see working software at the end of each one.
  • A senior engineer reviews every change before it is merged.
  • Our QA team tests each release before it goes live, and nothing launches until you sign off.

Typical timelines

  • Discovery and a written plan: usually one to two weeks.
  • A focused first release: usually 6 to 12 weeks once the plan is agreed.
  • A dedicated team: usually starting within two to three weeks.
  • A modernization assessment: usually two to four weeks, then phases of about two to three months.

Common questions

What do software development services include?
Usually planning, design, building, testing, launch, and support after launch. Some companies only write code to a specification. We take on the whole path and stay accountable for the result, from the first plan to the support that follows.
How do I choose a software development company?
Look for one accountable person, a written plan with dates before the build starts, working software you can see every couple of weeks, and real work you can check. Ask who reviews the code and who tests it. A good partner will also tell you when you do not need them.
How long does a software project take?
A focused first release usually takes 6 to 12 weeks after a one to two week discovery. Larger programs are split into phases, each with its own dates in writing.
Do you work with companies outside Texas?
Yes. Soft Pyramid is led from Frisco, Texas, and works with organizations across the United States.
